A Super Unveiling of Supa San
The Neighbourhood Izakaya Designed by Fanatics
Welcome to Supa San—a whimsical, culture-soaked izakaya in the heart of BKC, imagined through the eyes of a fictional manga-obsessed artist. Conceived by Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, Supa San translates to “super fan” and invites you into the eclectic inner world of one: layered, expressive, and full of culinary and design Easter eggs.
From hand-rolled ramen to delicately fried tempura and kamameshi slow-cooked in authentic Japanese iron pots, the menu is helmed by Chef Hideki Hiwatashi and draws deeply from Tokyo’s bustling backstreets. At the bar, Head Mixologist Trisha spins Japanese ingredients into zesty cocktails—from wasabi-kissed Picantes to playful Chu-Hi twists.
But Supa San is more than food and drink—it's a space to discover. With manga-laced walls, signature signage, and hidden nods to Japanese pop culture, this izakaya breaks convention and rewards curiosity. Whether it’s a deep-dive dinner, a post-work tipple, or a night out with your core crew—this fan-fuelled world is ready to pull you in.
At Supa San, we're obsessive about everything we do, we're fanatics in a sense. We're a neighbourhood izakaya designed for discovery — where Japanese culinary craft meets the layered chaos of Tokyo’s backstreets and underground fandom. We channel the obsessive spirit of a fictional manga artist to create a dining experience that’s bold, immersive, and always a little unexpected.
